PK:

PK dj elementaldc.com

PK is a classically trained DJ based out of Hampton Roads Virginia that has been heavily involved in the Electronic Dance Music Scene. At the age of six, PK began his musical journey with classical training in the fundamentals of music with the Piano. As time went on, PK’s musical taste changed, leading PK to learn the Guitar and the Bass Guitar, leading him into the punk scene. After performing with local band “Exit out of Motion” and doing several side projects, PK developed a love for Electronic Music and Audio Engineering.

After buying a used Vestax mixer and two Technique 1200 MkII’s from a friend, PK Learned to mix Trance and House. As PK’s DJ skills improved so did his love for Professional Audio which prompted PK to build a massive DJ based Pro Audio/Visual Rig

that would later be known as “The Solace.”

Through networking, PK was introduced to the Firelight Production Company and became their official Audio Engineer. PK’s electronic music taste changed from spinning trance to hard house and hard trance which helped PK develop his mixing skills into a fill/cut aggressive style of mixing. These mixing skills helped promote PK into spinning Electro and Fidget House, the genre he currently mixes today.

During PK’s career, he has played at venues such as: Ambush, The Wave, The Garage, Fahrenheit , Singapore Bistro, Element, Shorties, and Buddha’s Place. PK plans to continue to progress his style in Fidget and Electro house and continue on the quest of finding the hottest, most exclusive tracks.
